Coffee cups to go made of stainless steel
Our coffee cups to go are made for everyday use: double-wall, vacuum-insulated 18/8 stainless steel, 350 ml (12 oz), hot for up to 8 hours and cold for up to 12 hours. Every cup comes with a spill-proof sliding lid that opens with one hand.
Choose between our Plain Cups in seven colours – which you can also have engraved – and our Limited Editions with artwork made for one edition only. For kids there is the 200 ml Babyccino cup, and for cold drinks the 450 ml Iced To-Go Cup made of shatterproof plastic.
Why stainless steel instead of paper or plastic?
A paper cup is used for a few minutes and is hard to recycle because of its plastic lining. A stainless steel cup replaces hundreds of them, keeps your coffee hot instead of lukewarm and doesn't hold on to smells or flavours. 18/8 stainless steel is food-safe and contains no BPA – we explain why in Is stainless steel safe?. FAQ
Are the cups dishwasher safe?
The stainless steel body is dishwasher-proof, but we recommend hand washing printed cups so the print stays sharp. The lids are dishwasher safe. More in Is a travel mug dishwasher safe?
Are the cups leak-proof?
No. The sliding lid is spill-proof: nothing comes out if the cup is knocked or tipped over. It is not leak-proof, so carry the cup upright and don't pack it filled into a bag. For your bag, take one of our leak-proof 1 litre bottles.
How long does coffee stay hot?
Up to 8 hours hot and up to 12 hours cold, thanks to double-wall vacuum insulation. More in our guide how long coffee stays hot.
Is 18/8 stainless steel safe?
Yes. 18/8 stainless steel (also called 304) is food-safe and does not take on flavours. We explain the details in Is stainless steel safe?
