It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a quick morning coffee as for spending a slow hour with a proper breakfast. For anyone who loves the idea of a proper slow morning ritual but isn’t always at home to do it — Monty’s is where you go instead.

Order in Spanish or Catalan. None of these places require it — English is fine everywhere — but a simple “buenías” goes a long way and you’ll feel more like a local than a tourist.

Skip the tourist strip. The waterfront and main squares are full of cafés with great views and average coffee. The three places above are all a short walk inland — worth it every time.
